ANAS BENNANI

Mr. Bennani is a Managing Director of Palma Capital Limited. He has worked for the United Bank of Kuwait (UBK) Ahli United Bank Group in London from 1998 as Fund Manager responsible for the North African region. In this ongoing capacity, Mr. Bennani joined HSBC Primecorp Investment Management Limited in 1999 covering the Maghreb and Gulf regions. In 2001, he became Head of Asset Management for Investment Trust Limited, Kuwait’s Ahlia Investment Group in London.

In 2003 Mr. Bennani served as Head of Investment Operations and Business Development for Esterad Investment Company in Bahrain. He remained in this part of the world and held several positions with investment companies across the region.

Mr. Bennani is also Managing Director of Palma Holding. He managed to successfully close numerous aircraft leasing transactions with flag carriers across Africa, Middle East and the C.I.S valuing a total of US$ 500 million. Air Finance Journal awarded the “2014 African Deal of the Year “for one of the transactions structured and closed by Mr Bennani. Mr. Bennani, holds an M.Sc. in Finance and a Diploma in Financial Engineering from the Institute of Financial Studies, University of Cergy-Pontoise in France. He is also UK FSA threshold competent in Investment Management and Securities Dealing and is a member of International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT).
